Welcome to CASA Sabores
Tradition and flavours made from home with Love.
Casa Sabores was born from a simple idea: bringing the flavours and spirit of Latin America to Brisbane.
Inspired by Colombian traditions and South American cuisine, our menu blends authentic recipes, vibrant ingredients, and the warmth of homemade cooking.
Every dish is designed to capture the energy, colour, and comfort of the cultures that shaped us — creating an experience that feels both exciting and familiar.
Roots of Tradition
More than five years ago, we opened our first little home in Australia — a small corner where we brought the flavours, music, warmth, and spirit of Colombia to Brisbane.
What started as a little coffee shop and restaurant quickly became something bigger: a meeting place for the Latin community, for homesick hearts, for celebrations, and for people discovering our culture and flavours for the very first time.
After five and a half years, we felt it was time to go beyond the menu and create a complete experience — one that captures not only the taste of Latin America, but also its energy, colours, architecture, nightlife, and unique way of bringing people together.
Inspired by the colourful colonial streets of Cartagena, the vibrant colours of carnaval, the joyful atmosphere of Guatapé, and much more to discover. Casa Sabores was created as more than a restaurant. It is an authentic cultural immersion, a place where people gather, celebrate, and often stay much longer than they planned.
Throughout the venue you'll discover handcrafted details inspired by Colombia's most iconic traditions - the colourful zócalos of Guatapé, the famous carnival masks of Barranquilla, the iconic Sombrero Vueltiao, tropical balconies, rustic wooden textures, colourful doors, and many other elements that proudly represent our roots.
But we have our hidden gem, our outdoor patio, our own interpretation of La Calle del Sabor (The Street of Flavour) — a lively street inspired by Cali Colombia (home of salsa) where food, music, conversation, and celebration naturally come together. It is our tribute to the streets where neighbours become friends, every meal turns into a gathering, and every corner has a story to tell.
Perhaps what makes Casa Sabores truly unique is that every decorative element was personally imagined, designed, and carefully assembled by its owner. Many of the handcrafted pieces were made in Colombia before making the journey to Australia, where each individual piece was installed by hand to bring this vision to life.
It is a project built not only with craftsmanship, but with countless hours of passion, dedication, and love for the country we proudly call home.
From handcrafted details and tropical warmth to dishes made for sharing, every corner of Casa Sabores carries a piece of Colombia while becoming part of Brisbane's multicultural story. We hope that whether you grew up in Latin America or are discovering it for the very first time, your visit leaves you feeling like you've travelled without ever leaving Brisbane.
